Hom makes home renovation simple and transparent. Below is a breakdown of our pricing model for both Dreamers (homeowners) and Doers (professionals).
Free Access to Hana
Start your project with clarity and confidence. Hana helps you scope ideas, estimate costs, and think through what matters—at no cost. More advanced planning tools are coming soon.
Commitment Deposit
When requesting a match with a doer, pay a fully refundable deposit to show commitment.
- Small projects (under $10K): $100
- Mid-size projects ($10K-$50K): $250
- Large projects (over $50K): $500
- Applied to project down payment or refunded if no match
Secure Payments
All payments are processed through Hom for transparency, security, and easy tracking.

Free Access to Kit
Communicate clearly and confidently from day one. Kit helps you write messages, scope services, and manage client communication—at no cost. As we grow, we’ll offer optional upgrades for advanced AI tools and premium features.
Project Fee
Hom only charges a fee when you win work. This 2% Project Fee is based on your portion of the project total—not the full Dreamer budget. The fee is capped at $20,000. It helps us maintain the systems that support your growth, reputation, and time.
For example:
If a Dreamer’s full renovation budget is $2,000,000, and you’re the architect with a $200,000 scope, your Project Fee would be $4,000 (2% of your take). If you're the general contractor with a $1,800,000 scope, your Project Fee would be $20,000 (cap reached). That’s it—only for the work you win.
Transaction Fee
A small $5 per transaction fee applied to each payment processed through Hom. It covers secure transfers, recordkeeping, and platform services that support your business.
Required Payment Processing
You must process payments via Hom to maintain platform compliance, avoid disputes, and ensure milestone payments are tracked.
